The KRASNER Bag is inspired by the artwork of American Abstract expressionist Lee Krasner. We are drawn to her vibrant and dynamic artwork, most notably the color-popping collages and assemblages created from found pieces.
This medium sized box bag features our signature quilting and appliqué on a rich red satin base. We utilised off-cuts and remnants of rich pink silks and heavy black silk crepes for the abstract surface design. The base is finished with a playful ruffled ribbon stripe.
KRASNER is a versatile piece which will work day to night. It has ample room for everyday essentials such as laptops, books and wallet and features a large internal pocket with contrast red satin trim, perfect for phone and keys.
All of our products are designed and produced by a small female team in Co. Donegal, Ireland. Each product comes beautifully boxed and includes a cotton dust-bag for future use.

REUSE & RECREATE: The textiles we use in our collections come from a range of sources which aim to reduce our environmental impact. We primarily use vintage and antique textiles. We also utilise salvaged and remnant fabrics from the fashion and interiors industry. As well as deadstock fabrics for lining.
As such, there may be small imperfections or blemishes in the fabric. We believe this is part of the appeal of buying a unique, handcrafted product, and we celebrate the idiosyncrasies. Any significant issues will be noted on the product listing.
CARE DETAILS: We recommend dry cleaning on all of our products. Velvet doesn't love the rain, so please take care in wet weather and make sure to keep the bag covered.
Avoid Overloading: Do not fill your bags beyond their capacity. This can strain the seams and straps. Our midsize box bags are perfect for everyday essentials or nights out on the tiles.
