The BERTIE Box-bag is the latest addition to our collection and continues our love affair with a chunky stripe.
Crafted from antique silk velvet and recycled wool from Cambridge University scarves, this stylish bag brings together sleek modern vibes with unique, one-of-a-kind touches that define our brand.
BERTIE is deceivingly roomy and will fit most of your daily essentials...wallet, keys, phone and a book. It features a slim shoulder or crossbody strap as well as chunky rounded handles for versatility when you wear. The inside is lined with a soft dusky pink velvet and including a large internal pocket.
All of our products are designed and produced by a small female team in Co. Donegal, Ireland. Each product comes beautifully boxed and includes a cotton dust-bag for future use.

REUSE & RECREATE: The textiles we use in our collections come from a range of sources which aim to reduce our environmental impact. We primarily use vintage and antique textiles. We also utilise salvaged and remnant fabrics from the fashion and interiors industry. As well as dead-stock fabrics for lining.
As such, there may be small imperfections or blemishes in the fabric. We believe this is part of the appeal of buying a unique, handcrafted product, and we celebrate the idiosyncrasies. Any significant issues will be noted on the product listing.
CARE DETAILS: We recommend dry cleaning on all of our products. Velvet doesn't love the rain, so please take care in wet weather and make sure to keep the bag covered. The bag will dry out normally from water marks.
Avoid Overloading: Do not fill your bags beyond their capacity. This can strain the seams and straps. Our small box bags are perfect for everyday essentials or nights out on the tiles.
