The CHECKMATE bow band is constructed from playful chequered cotton off-cuts which came from a previous tailoring project.
CHECKMATE is one of a small series of silk & cotton bow-bands, all with unique surface decoration. No two are the same.

All of our hair products and bags come beautifully packaged in reusable boxes with fabric lining or dust-bags. Perfect for gifting to the conscious consumers in your lives who love good design. All pieces are designed and produced by a small female team, in Co. Donegal, on the North west coast of Ireland.
REUSE & RECREATE: The textiles we use in our collections come from a range of sources which aim to reduce our environmental impact. We primarily use vintage and antique textiles. We also utilise salvaged and remnant fabrics from the fashion and interiors industry. As well as deadstock fabrics for lining.
As such, there may be small imperfections or blemishes in the fabric. We believe this is part of the appeal of buying a unique, handcrafted product, and we celebrate the idiosyncrasies. Any significant issues will be noted on the product listing.
MEASUREMENTS: 10cm wide (scrunchie) / 34cm overall length / 14cm wide (bow).
CARE DETAILS: Steam clean with an iron or steamer to freshen up.
