Silk Grosgain Jacket, probably dating from the 1920s or 1930's. The jacket has been darted down the back creating a nice gathered effect from the waist. Pretty black lace crochet appliqués adorn the back and front panels near the hem. There are tonal differences in the fabric due to the ribbed nature of the faille. There is one hook and eye closure on the front at waist level.
Condition: Good - The jacket is strong and wearable. But there are indications of it's age. Mostly noticeable on the frayed finishings on the inside, cuffs and some variations in finish on the outside. (Please see the condition key in Terms & Conditions.)
Measurements: Model is a UK 6-8 for reference - This could be worn up to a small UK 12 depending on fit preference.
No shoulder seam
33" Waist (When hook & eye is closed, can be worn by larger size)
